The 181 Mission:

Build a legacy, together.

Our mission in partnering with all those we serve is that together we work towards building a legacy for the individual, the family, and community. We look forward to serving you and creating products and services we will be proud to pass down.

A Team of Creatives

All projects, big, small, simple or challenging receive the same level of creativity in planning and craftsmanship. When you work with 181, you’re guaranteed quality work, close attention to detail and truly beautiful results as if every project was a work of art in a gallery.

Our Commitment to You:

Continual Growth Fed By A Learning Mindset

We believe it takes time, patience, and positivity to grow in all aspects of life.  It also takes a commitment to learning every day.  Whether it is researching new materials and processes on the market or learning more about a client’s needs and wants and how to better serve them, we have committed ourselves to learning, researching, and growing both personally and professionally.

While we pride ourselves on being professionals, we are committed to staying in the “student” mindset; forever absorbing new techniques or methods to deliver the best product to our clients and every community we work in.

Creative Freedom

While most would shudder at the thought of allowing a contractor “creative freedom,” many of our clients’ expectations were not only met, but exceeded, and the final result better than the original ideals when first planning the investment into their homes, properties and futures.

Trusted contractors

181 works with the highest quality subcontractors. We know it’s imperative to have the strongest foundation when entrusted to create a space for a client.

Our subcontractors are experienced, efficient and reliable as well as focused on the importance of seamless, quality craftsmanship.

Ryan- Build Manager

Ryan is a visionary. An artist through and through.

Ryan grew up around the Lafayette area and attended St. Joseph’s college where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Art Education in 2010. Learning, growing, and teaching everyday since, Ryan enjoyed teaching concepts and principals of art to young artists in the Rensselaer and Tri-County school corporations, as well as working on building projects, further expanding his knowledge, and deepening his love for creating atmospheres through construction.

In late 2018, he was presented with the opportunity to spend every day constructing and creating unique spaces for others. It was then that 181 was born.
